A female scooter rider killed a man by squeezing his testicles over a parking dispute, in Haikou City, Hainan Province, China.

The 41 years old woman rode her scooter to an elementary school in Meilan District, to pick up her child. When she tried to park her scooter in front of a shop, she was rejected by the 42-year-old male shop owner.

The two parties soon fell into a quarrel, and then the physical confrontation began. The furious woman called up her husband and brother to come help her, which resulted in a fight.

During the fight, the middle aged woman managed to grab the man’s testicles, and squeezed them till he finally collapsed on the ground.

The man was immediately rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately died.

Nigeria Produces First Female Military Pilot

History was made yesterday [Apr. 27] in Abuja as Nigerian Air Force produced the first female military pilot in the sub-region, when Flying Officer Blessing Liman and 29 others joined the list of military officers at a well attended ceremony hosted by the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Mohammed Dikko Umar.

The training programme that included attending several courses, both within and outside the country, such as the United States, United Kingdom, Pakistan, and Egypt. Those that were winged yesterday included 14 JET Flag Officers, 8 Transport Flying Officers, and 8 Helicopter Flying Officers.

The history making officer, Blessing Liman, an indigene of Kaduna state, was born on 13 March, 1984 in Zangon Kataf and enlisted in the Nigerian Air Force in July 2011. She was commissioned on 9th December, 2011. Her outstanding performance helped her in attaining the historical height.

The leadership of the National Council for Nigerian Society (NCNS), the Presidential Adviser to the President on Ethics and Values, Mrs. Sarah Jubril and the Minister of State for Defense, Mrs. Olusola Obada led other women in celebrating the young female flying officer.

In her speech, she disclosed her awareness of the enormous responsibility on her shoulder as a record maker, but was optimistic that God would help her to live up to the expectation of the society and the Nigeria Air Force. According to her, “I am going to work, with prayers, dedication and hard work, I know I will succeed”.

Ghanaian play boy actor, Majid Michel  who was overjoyed after winning the Best Actor for his role in ‘Somewhere in Africa’ thought he was playing another movie role, when he went out of his  way  hours before the  awards night to rain curse on Nigerian journalists.

According to Vanguard, trouble started when the actor grabbed the microphone at a press conference to defend Morris Chestnut, who was accused of making a derogatory statement about Eko hotel.

Rather than address the issue, Majid resorted to abusing Nigerian journalists and calling them names; “They go about writing fake stories, let them continue to write until they die”, the actor fumed.

Angered by this insulting statement, movie journalists at the event insisted that Majid must be made to apologise to them. Fortunately, AMAA officials intervened and saved the situation.

Ghallywood-Nollywood actor Van Vicker has refuted rumours going round that he was arrested last weekend by the state security service in Lagos for alleged possession of arms.

Van narrated the incident to Hitz FM Ghana…

“I need to really get it clear that I was not arrested,” what i did was to purchase some stage blank gun props from the US which were to be delivered to me in Nigeria because i was there at that time”.

He continued, “a few minutes after boarding a flight bound for Ghana with the gun props following due security checks at the airport”, he was asked by some officers to come down and identify his bags”.

“I was told that there was need for State Security Service (SSS) to approve of the props. My trip was then declined by the senior officers so I had to stay for the declaration on the guns and also a cross-check to establish they were just stage guns”.

He said he was in the offices of the SSS for a long time. “I was with them for a very long time and then eventually we went to the SSS offices in Ikoyi but because it was really late I had to stay with them overnight and the next day processes were made for me to leave and also certify that the guns were just props”. he said. “I contacted my wife and uche jombo to let them know what was happening in Ghana and Nigeria”.

“I was just in the process of leaving, I was not being kept for a crime or detained by any police, Uche came to the SSS office and we left the premises”.

Van made it known that he was never arrested or detained at the police station, adding that the process has been completed, he has his stage blank gun props with him and he is back in Ghana to prepare for his next movie shoot and other projects in Malawi.

Contrary to reports that he could not make it to the AMA awards because of the incident,he explained he didn’t plan to attend the ceremony due to the fact that he was on set of a movie .

Egyptian husbands will soon be legally allowed to have sex with their dead wives - for up to six hours after their death.

The controversial new law is part of a raft of measures being introduced by the Islamist-dominated parliament. It will also see the minimum age of marriage lowered to 14 and the ridding of women's rights of getting education and employment.

Egypt's National Council for Women (NCW) is campaigning against the changes, saying that 'marginalising and undermining the status of women would negatively affect the country's human development'.

Dr Mervat al-Talawi, head of the NCW, wrote to the Egyptian People’s Assembly Speaker Dr Saad al-Katatni addressing her concerns.

The subject of a husband having sex with his dead wife arose in May 2011 when Moroccan cleric Zamzami Abdul Bari said marriage remains valid even after death.

He also said that women have the right to have sex with her dead husband, alarabiya.net reported.

It seems the topic, which has sparked outrage, has now been picked up on by Egypt's politicians.

TV anchor Jaber al-Qarmouty slammed the notion of letting a husband have sex with his wife after her death under the so-called 'Farewell Intercourse' draft law.

He said: 'This is very serious. Could the panel that will draft the Egyptian constitution possibly discuss such issues? Did Abdul Samea see by his own eyes the text of the message sent by Talawi to Katatni?

'This is unbelievable. It is a catastrophe to give the husband such a right! Has the Islamic trend reached that far? Is there really a draft law in this regard? Are there people thinking in this manner?'
