Kim Kardashian is the latest target for animal rights
activists People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).
The reality star now featured on a
billboard in Los Angeles. The massive billboard has a photo of Kim along with a
photo of adorable baby foxes, with the caption, “Kim: These Babies Miss Their
Mother. Is She on Your Back?”
The bosses at the animal rights
organization are hoping to make an impact on the reality star with their latest
ad campaign. PETA’s vice-president Lisa Lange says, “Kim knows that animals on
fur farms are beaten, electrocuted, and often skinned alive. We’ve explained it
to her, and she’s watched a video expose that was filmed inside fur farms.
“When Kim is ready to put an end to
her relationship with fur, Peta will be happy to take her discards and donate
them to the homeless.”
While the E!Reality
star prefers animal-skinned fashion, her
sister has taken a completely different stance on the matter. It’s interesting
to note that in 2008 Kim’s sister Khloe previously stripped down for one of PETA‘s “I’d Rather Go
Naked Than Wear Fur” ads.
