Beyonce, who was up for nine awards, stole the show with her epic performance and she also amped up her total of Grammy wins during the biggest night in music.
Mrs. Carter won Best Music Video for “Formation” during the pre-show. Later, she scooped up the Best Urban Contemporary Album award for her powerful LEMONADE album. Still, she was forever grateful for all the love.
During her acceptance speech, she thanked everyone who helped with the album that captured her deep southern culture. She said she’s proud of the body of work that gives a voice to our pain and to show powerful imagery to her children that reflect their beauty.
