|John Obi Mikel in action|
It seems like only yesterday that Manchester United and Chelsea got themselves into a legal battle for a prosperous young teenager called John Obi Mikel. In fact, it was over a decade ago.
Chelsea have long since accepted that Mikel will not reach the potential he once showed and have agreed to let him leave for Chinese Super League outfit Tianjin TEDA, where he will earn £140,000-a-week.
Compared to the £400,000-a-week his former Chelsae team-mate Oscar now earns in the same country, it sounds fairly modest.
But to put it back in perspective, he will earn the same amount that Mesut Ozil earns at Arsenal.
