Jose Mourinho will miss Manchester United’s clash with Swansea City on Sunday after being given a one-match touchline ban by the Football Association. The Portugese has accepted two separate charges from the FA and has been fined a total of £58,000, as well as being given a touchline suspension.
Mourinho was fined £50,000 for claiming before United’s goalless draw with Liverpool that it would be ‘difficult’ for referee Anthony Taylor to perform at his best as he is based in Manchester.

The 53-year-old has been banned from watching United’s clash with Swansea after admitting that he used ‘abusive and/or insulting words’ towards referee Mark Clattenburg during United’s draw with Burnley at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Mourinho was unhappy with Clattenburg’s refusal to award a penalty for a foul on Matteo Darmian and was sent to the stands following his protests.
The United manager has also been fined £8,000 for that incident.
