Chelsea have been revived under new coach Antonio Conte this season, and the team's success on the pitch has been reflected not only in the Premier League standings but also in new stats that show the top-flight's highest passers.
Data courtesy of EA SPORTS show that the Blues have the most players in the top 10 for successful passes made - with N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Cesar Azpilicueta all making the cut.
Kante, who arrived from champions Leicester City in the summer, has completed the most passes of all of his featured teammates this season with 654 in 900 minutes - putting him third in the top 10 with 65.4 passes per 90 minutes.
Matic has enjoyed a new lease of life under Conte and that is demonstrated by the fact he comes in seventh place in the table, with 602 passes made in 868 minutes (62.4 passes per match). Full-back Cesar Azpilicueta follows Matic in the top 10 after making 594 passes in 900 minutes - meaning the Spaniard makes 59.4 successful passes per match.
While Chelsea can boast of having the most players in the Premier League's top 10 passers, surprisingly none of Arsenal's stars feature.
Top spot goes to Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, who has completed the most passes of any Premier League player this season with 830 in 884 minutes (84.5 passes per match).
His closest challenger is Manchester City's Fernandinho (73.3 passes per 90 minutes) while Leicester's Danny Drinkwater (third), Manchester United's Paul Pogba (fifth), Everton's Idrissa Gueye (sixth), David Silva (ninth) and Hull's Jake Livermore (10th) complete the top 10.
Despite Arsenal's stars missing out on a spot in the top 10 passers table, the Gunners can boast of having Mesut Ozil - who has made the second-most successful passes in an opposition half with 396, second only to Henderson (412).
