Two fully-loaded oil tankers on Thursday [Apr 7] collided at Asese, a village in Ogun State, causing massive traffic logjam, Nigerian Tribune has reported.
While one was loaded with Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) known as petrol, the other was conveying black oil, known as diesel.
Their destinations were unknown. Both reportedly crashed into a Hilux van after colliding.
The tanker loaded with black oil spilled most of its content, immediately after the accident. Residents of the village and environs were sighted scooping the spilled diesel.
