Rescue officials are currently at a motor park in Yola, Adamawa State, where an unknown number of people have been killed by a bomb explosion, reports say.
The officials, reports say, are trying to locate the survivors of the attack which is likely to be blamed on Book Haram terrorists who have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State.
The explosion went off, Tuesday evening, with a first responder saying it was so loud it resounded “almost throughout the city.”
“I am currently at the scene and we are helping to evacuate injured to the Hospital, there are many dead bodies all over the place,” he told local media.
At least 50 people have been killed in two major attacks in Yola this year with the last one coming in October.
Casualty figure for the current attack remains unknown, for now.
