Rumour Control: Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, not held hostage In Mali
Contrary to rumours making the rounds that Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, was in a five-star hotel in Mali, where 170 persons are being held hostage, the rich business mogul took to his twitter page moments ago to refute such claim.

Aliko Dangote tweeted:
Rumour about me being held hostage is false. I was in Mali yesterday. Thank you for your concern. My prayers with those involved.

According to a report by Al Jazeera, the gunmen attacked Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali’s capital, today, Friday, November 20 and about 170 have been held hostage. The gunmen who shouted “Allahu Akbar” opened fire outside the hotel before storming it.
