|Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Godsday Orubebe|
Orubebe, who spoke in a telephone interview with PUNCH Newspaper said, “I do not see the need for such meeting, especially when the Boko Haram sect is still bombing.
“Although the meeting planned to review activities in President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, I found it unnecessary.”
Also, an Asaba-based rights activist, Mrs. Bridget Ayanfulu, said the meeting was called to instigate violence because those behind the meeting did not have access to Buhari as they did to former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Ayanfulu, however, said Tompolo must be checked. She said, “Tompolo has to watch his utterances and stop secret meetings.”
