Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo yesterday [May 31] took over the leadership of the Aso Rock Villa Chapel. The chapel, sited within the precincts of the president’s residence, was built during the administration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Osinbajo, a pastor, was absent at the thanksgiving service organised for former President Goodluck Jonathan where the latter had planned to hand over the chapel to him. But yesterday, the vice president, alongside his wife, Dolapo; Bishop Wale Oke of the Sword of the Spirit Ministries; Senior Pastor of Living Waters Unlimited Church, Pastor Ladi Thompson, among others.
Osinbajo delivered a goodwill message to the congregation after which he proceeded to the children’s church where he prayed and took photographs with them.
