For the second time in less than two weeks, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday [Jun 10] met behind closed doors with service chiefs.
The meeting was held at the Defence House, Abuja. Since the president vowed to tackle the menace of Boko Haram headlong, the Islamist terrorists group had intensified its terror attacks on innocent people in the north-east.
The agenda of the meeting, checks indicated, was on how to step up action against the dreaded Islamist sect. The meeting which started around 4pm, was still going on at the time THISDAY was filing this report.
Before leaving for Niger Republic and Chad last week, Buhari had met with the service chiefs last Tuesday, 2 June.
