Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, has said Nigerians should give the President-elect, Gen Muhammadu Buhari, one year before accessing him on performance.
Speaking on Channels TV on Saturday [April 11], Soyinka said, although there were many areas deserving priority attention for the incoming government, Nigerians must allow Buhari to choose his own priorities.
He said: “There are so many priorities for Nigeria at the moment. But I think Buhari should be allowed to make out his own. He should be left alone for one year.”
