Shameless: Parents keep shopkeeper talking while child sneaks off to steal electrical goods

According video clip uploaded to LiveLeak.com by bigEcod, two women engaged a shopkeeper in conversation while one of their kids moves quietly sneaks away to 'steal' two mobile phones.

Another camera angle shows the child running between some sets of shelves before she appears to pocket two electrical devices, which look like state of the art smartphones. The child then subtly rejoins the group and appears to pull at the dress of one of the women to get her attention.

As the child returns, the woman abruptly ends her conversation with the shopkeeper, turns, and walks out of the shop, prompting the rest of the family to follow.

The incident is thought to have happened at a shop in Nigeria. It is not clear whether any action was taken by the shop or if anyone was arrested.

The thirty second video was published on March 12, and has racked up over 47,406 views.
