AL JAZEERA'S INTERVIEW - President Goodluck Said Nigeria Is Not The First Country That Is Experiencing Terror...[WATCH VIDEO HERE]

Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan says rebels in Mali must be contained, or it could threaten the security of Africa.

Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, Jonathan also tells Al Jazeera's Stephen Cole that there is a direct link between the Malian rebels and the Boko Haram rebel group in his country.

Terrorist are criminals they don’t respect international boundaries…they need a visa to enter any country, Jonathan said.
In the same interview, Jonathan also calls for the diversification of the Nigerian economy, which he says has become reliant on oil.

"Oil brought money to Nigeria, but oil also brought problem to Nigeria," he says, adding that his country has "abandoned agriculture, which is our primary source of income”.
