Eye witnesses said the incident,
which occurred at about 6pm, was caused by over speeding by the driver of the

Man Beheads 42-Year-Old Woman After Sex
One of the suspects, Asimiyu Ayantayo, the lover of the
deceased, allegedly beheaded her and cut off her two hands after making love
with her at his Oke-Are area of Ibadan, the state capital.
But, Ayantayo, while speaking with journalists, said the deceased died
as a result of the killer charm, ‘magun’ that was placed on her by
another man.
He said after making love with the
deceased, she allegedly somersaulted under the spell of ‘magun’ and died.
But, asked why he beheaded her after
killing her, he said he never wanted to use her for rituals, but to make it
impossible for residents in the area to identify her.
His words: “She was my mistress. I contacted
‘magun’ on her during love-making. She wanted to somersault but I helped her.
Then she started vomiting after the act and she fell down from the chair and
died. It was then I beheaded her and cut off her two hands. I don’t need the
body parts for anything and I did nothing with it”.
His accomplice, Mr. Isiaka Akanbi, who denied involvement in the act, said his
friend only sent him to buy a sack for him, but did not know the purpose for
which he needed it.
The parade of the suspects attracted
many sympathisers at Eleyele area, who thronged the state police headquarters
to catch a glimpse of the suspects and the gory picture of the head and the
hands that were severed by the suspects.
The state Police Commissioner, Mr. Tambari Yabo Mohammed, speaking with journalists on the incident, said
neighbours of the deceased alerted the police about a headless body dumped in
their area.

‘Pregnant Man’ Thomas Beatie Separates From Wife of Nine Years
Thomas Beatie, 38, the transgendered man who
first made headlines back in 2008 when he
became pregnant and gave birth to a healthy daughter, has separated
from his wife of nine years.
Beatie, who has three children with his
wife, Nancy, announced the news of
the separation while taping an interview on the TV show "The Doctors".
"Like
all marriages, we have our ups and downs, and we’re going through a rough patch
right now. At the moment, we’re separated".
Beatie changed his sex to enable him
get pregnant because his wife Nancy

A
baby boy born with six legs has had a successful operation to remove his four
extra limbs, doctors said today [Apr. 19]. The youngster from Karachi in
Pakistan was believed to have had a parasitic twin, which had not
developed properly in the womb, resulting in the extra legs.
A team of five doctors had fought to save the boy's life at the National Institute of Child Health in Karachi. The head of the NICH, Jamal Raza, said the abnormal birth was the result of a genetic disease which would affect only one in a million or more babies.

opening a secret detention center to hold and interrogate suspected high-level
members of a radical Islamist sect responsible for hundreds of killings this
year alone, a security official has told The Associated Press.
While the facility could create a
more cohesive effort among disparate and sometimes feuding security agencies in
Nigeria to combat the sect known as Boko Haram, it raises concerns about its
possible use for torture and illegal detentions. Nigeria's security forces have
notorious human rights records, with a documented history of abusing and even
killing prisoners.

Nigerian Kazeem Kolawole, 19, and two of his gang members of a south London
