Nigeria’s first lady of Dame Patience Jonathan broke down and wept, when she visited the widow of the late governor of Kaduna at the State Government House.
Mrs. Jonathan extolled the virtues of the late Patrick Yakowa, asserting that he was a true patriot, who was dedicated to the welfare of his people.
“I am sorry I am crying because I am a woman; I know what she (Amina) is passing through. It’s quite unfortunate that we lost a peaceful and supportive man, a man who was always filled with joy, Dame said.
“My only advice to you my friend is that you should take heart, have faith in God because only God can comfort and protect you and your kids”.
Mrs. Jonathan prayed to God to grant Yakowa’s soul eternal rest.
Her condolence message reads:
“Our dearly beloved Governor Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa, we received with rude shock news of your sudden and painful departure. We, however, give God praise that you lived a worthy life full of honour and integrity”.
“We are also gladdened that you were a true patriot who was devoted to the welfare of your people without respect for the divides and differences. Our prayers is that God, almighty will receive you into His peace and grant your sweet repose”.
