The
Governor of Kogi State, Captain Idris
Wada was involved in ghastly motor accident some minutes ago around Jingbe,
just before Salem University (along Lokoja-Ajaokuta road) while returning from
Ayingba.
The
governor’s ADC and driver are feared dead while Captain Wada is being treated at the State Specialist Hospital.
The
governor left Lokoja this morning [Dec. 28] to attend a function at Ayingba and had the
unfortunate accident on his way back to Lokoja.

Car Crash, ADC Dies
Kogi State
Governor, Idris Wada, is in a critical condition at the Lokoja Specialist
Hospital, Lokoja where he was rushed to after an auto crash.
Although
his driver escaped unhurt, the governor’s Aide-de-Camp died instantly.
The
governor was heading from a meeting of Igala elders in Ayangba when his convoy
was involved in the crash on Lokoja-Ajaokuta Road.
