In the United States, a group of
Kansas City doctors are on the verge of developing the first ever male birth
control pill. The active agent in the pill will be a chemical compound named H2-gamendazole, which will keep sperm
cells from developing in the testes. Doctors developing the pill say that men
would experience no change in their libido and after they stop taking it,
regain full fertility in just a few weeks.
The pills have been tested on monkeys,
mice, rats and rabbits (no dogs by the way). Researchers said they saw no
change in the animals’ behaviour and that the monkeys still appeared to be “happy”.
Developers are confident that the
pills will meet regulatory body’s approval, but even then, it will be at least
another decade before the Male Birth Control pill be available on the market.
So until then fellas, be wise keep
wearing the CDs and avoid the ‘skin to skin’ enjoyment especially when you are
not ready to father a kid…
