'God is in
control': Shauna Magunda, right, Fabrice Muamba's fiancee, urged her Twitter
followers to keep the Bolton player in their prayers as he fights for life
|
Fabrice Muamba's father has told how
the bewildered footballer asked 'did we lose?' when he came round in his
hospital bed. After being told the match against Tottenham Hotspur had to
be abandoned with the scores at 1-1, the Bolton Wanderers star then
demanded to know why, and was told by father Marcel: 'Because of you'.
Muamba, whose very first words were about
three-year-old son Joshua, is
recovering well in hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest during
Saturday's game and his family said they are looking forward to taking him
home.

The
player is still in intensive care at the London Chest Hospital but has amazed
his manager with the speed of his recovery.
Cardiologists
said the long-term outlook will remain unclear for some time.
The
footballer had a 'comfortable night' in intensive care last night as he
continues to recover after being visited by a host of professional players.
