The–Dream has expressed his opinion on the obsession with the Illuminati, claiming that if it did exist, long rumoured members like Jay–Z, Beyoncé, Lil Wayne, Kanye West and Rihanna wouldn’t be allowed to join.

According to the producer, he believes Illuminati theories undermine the hard work that successful artists put in their work.

Talking to The Life Files TV, The-Dream said: “Pretty funny, ’cause nobody really wants to give you credit for where you at”.

He also insisted that Black people wouldn’t be given the chance to join such an allegedly powerful organisation.

“It’s a ‘higher’ power and they just happened to give it to the black people, yeah right. Whatever, the 34-year-old scoffed.  If there was an Illuminati, they wouldn’t let black people in.”
