As a weather forecaster, she makes predictions for a living, but this was one event the Augusta, Georgia, woman did not see coming.

Jenna Lee Thomas, who works for news station WJBF, got the surprise of a lifetime last week when her boyfriend, Eric Wright proposed during a live broadcast.

The surprise proposal took place during one of Lee Thomas's five-day forecasts on Augusta, Georgia news station WJBF, where squeaks of delight were heard before she'd even finished telling the audience what weather to expect on Saturday.

Requiring the help of everyone from the weekend newsanchor Jillian Benfield to the show's runners, Wright's ruse saw him hiding in the studio's bathroom to leap out at the right moment to surprise her.

Shocked and full of excitement, Ms Thomas accepted, saying 'I love you' and planting a long, passionate kiss on his lips.

They will be married in August 2012.

Three things are happening: Lindsay Lohan’s purse was stolen. Lindsay Lohan’s stolen purse was returned. Lindsay Lohan is missing $10,000 from said purse. 

So many unanswered questions like, who removed $10,000 in cash, do they make bills larger than $100, and was there a large silver briefcase inside her purse to carry all the cash?

Here’s what happened: Lindsay spent the weekend in Hawaii with her sister Ali and some friends, to “take a break” from volunteering at the morgue. 

She was at a house party on the island and said during that time her white Chanel purse was stolen from the Jeep she was riding around the island. 

Lindsay started freaking out because her purse contained her passport and ID and probation paperwork stating she was allowed to be on the island only for the weekend. She also has to appear in court on Wednesday and therefore needed her passport and ID to get back on the plane. 

She sent the party goers into frenzy mode, making everyone search for the purse. Then, some “suspicious looking” locals, according to TMZ, showed up with the purse, claiming he found it on the street somewhere. 

Everything was in the bag, except the $10,000 in cash. Lindsay's rep Steve Honig says, “Everything was still in the purse, except the cash she was carrying with her.” 

Apparently, Lindsay was so relieved to have her documents back that she didn’t even question the guy as to where all her cash went.

Meanwhile, Lindsay’s nude playboy photos have leaked online along with some excerpts from the interview. “Sex and sexuality are a part of nature, and I go along with nature,” says Lohan.

Lindsay adds that its import to “[know] yourself and your body because it gives you confidence.” 

Is this how these Playboy interviews always are? Celebs talking about how great they feel naked? 

Anyways, Lindsay also adds, “It’s a very male-dominated world to begin with, so knowing yourself and being comfortable with your body is an important thing for me as a woman,” she says.

Zimbabwe PM Tsvangirai Fined 2 Cows & 2 Sheep For Breaking A Cultural Taboo

State radio says a traditional African chief has fined Zimbabwe's prime minister two cows, two sheep and 10 yards (meters) of cotton cloth for breaking a tribal taboo that forbids marriage negotiations during a period deemed "sacred" in ancient folklore.

State radio said Monday that a Harare businesswoman who had a relationship with widower Morgan Tsvangirai claimed he paid a traditional "bride price" and married her in November when no marriage rites are allowed. Tsvangirai has acknowledged the relationship, which he broke off last month, but denied a marriage.

State radio said Tsvangirai was given 30 days to "pay" the chief.

Tsvangirai's party, in a fragile coalition government, says it does not recognize the chief's powers and insists the marriage claims were fabricated by Mugabe's party to discredit their leader.

Nigeria Produces First Female Fighter Pilot

Blessing Liman, 25, from Kaduna State has become Nigeria’s first female military pilot. Blessing was commissioned last Friday alongside 126 others who completed the Direct Short Service Course 2010/11 Cadets of 325 Ground Training Group at the NAF Base, Kaduna.

Elated Blessing said she was very excited and proud to make history. In her words, “It is very uplifting and I feel very proud of myself though it has been very challenging. Coming from the civil war and the civil mentality, the Air Force has done a great job because it has changed our orientation. I believe that all females have equal opportunity to dignify their rights in whatever adventure they choose they can do.”

JUNGLE JUSTICE?: Nigerian Ladies’ Attraction to Stealing Blackberry Phones

According to ladunliadi, this lady is a prostitute and was picked up by a man to spend the night with him. After having a nice time together, she drugged his drink and made away with his Blackberry phone, wristwatch and little cash. The guy contacted another lady, who later called the (prostitute) on phone pretending to be an old friend she forgot and told her there was a new guy in town who just returned from the US and needs a babe. She fell for the trap and when she got to V.I the said location, she was arrested by a Mopol, the lady and guy had hired.

She was arrested and she confessed stealing the said items because she had a sick mum at home. They followed her to her one bedroom apartment and found her mum lying there sick.

Was she right to have stolen the items to be able to take care of her mother?

Some Nigerian guys have been taking undue advantage of this scandalous act, enforcing instant jungle justice by stripping these "petty thieves". Some they fondle...I think this act of justice is callous when there are Police stations around to report the matter to.

Another set of girls were allegedly caught stealing blackberry phone. As the story goes, these female students saw some guys drinking, and they summoned courage to go meet the drunken guys. The ladies pretended to know the guys, and they started kissing and touching the guys they never knew from Adam. The guys all have blackberry phones, the girls made away with the guys’ BB. The ladies were about to take off, when the bar attendant noticed some tricky movements. That brought about this picture flying around the internet.

Advice for Nigerian ladies:

Ladies, you don’t need a Blackberry at all cost, and if you do, please ask your parents to provide you one (that’s if they could afford it), or probably if you have a boyfriend ask him to give you one as a gift for your next birthday, Christmas gifts, or something. But please don't go stealing.

VIDEO: 'Mother Robin' wins CNN Hero of the Year

Robin Lim, an American woman who has helped thousands of poor Indonesian women have a healthy pregnancy and birth, was named the 2011 CNN Hero of the Year on Sunday night.

Through her Yayasan Bumi Sehat health clinics, "Mother Robin," or "Ibu Robin" as she is called by the locals, offers free prenatal care, birthing services and medical aid in Indonesia, where many families cannot afford care.

"Every baby's first breath on Earth could be one of peace and love. Every mother should be healthy and strong. Every birth could be safe and loving. But our world is not there yet," Lim said during "CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute," which took place at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and recognized Lim and the other top 10 CNN Heroes of 2011.

Fake Doctor Charged With Manslaughter After Fatal ‘Silicon Injection' In Penis Enhancement

 for  illegally performing a penis enhancement
 without a licence

A New Jersey woman who police say injected a man’s penis with silicon, resulting in his death, has been charged with manslaughter.

The Essex County prosecutor’s office says 34-year-old Kasia Rivera gave 22-year-old Justin Street the injection on May 5. Such injections often are used to enlarge body parts, such as the buttocks.

Street died the day after his injection. His death was ruled a homicide following an investigation and a medical examiner’s determination he died of a silicone embolism.

Rivera also faces charges for the unauthorized practice of medicine. She was arrested Friday and is being held on $75,000 bail. It’s unclear if she has a lawyer. No telephone listing could be found for her home in East Orange.

It’s official: Jennifer Aniston is America’s hottest girl-next-door.

The actress took the No. 1 slot in a recent Men’s Health poll, beating out fellow bombshells from past and present—including one-time man-stealer Angelina Jolie, who landed at No. 10.

“Funny is sexy, and Jennifer Aniston is funny,” the magazine explained on its website. “Her down-to-earth persona makes her seem attainable.

Petite Gospel Act, Nikki Laoye Weds Today

Today is bound to be a special day for Nikki, as the petite gospel act walks down the aisle with her hubby, Alexander Oturu.

Just last June, Alexander opened a blog http://sammieal.blogspot.com and proposed to Nikki on the 26th of the same month through the same blog.

Surprisingly, he proposed to the singer on the day “One Mic Niaja concert” was held, and Nikki happened to be the headliner of the show.

According to Vanguard, the two lovebirds, during one of their hangouts at the Chicken Republic, Ikoyi, Alexander gave Nikki a long prose, eulogizing her beauty and how lucky he was to have found her. Finally, he asked her to marry him. Dumbfounded, Nikki was said to have burst into tears. And unable to hold back, she immediately replied with a big ‘yes’.

Thereafter, the petite gospel singer posted his proposal letter on her facebook wall and congratulatory messages poured in from friends. The wedding is billed to hold today at the Grandeur Event Centre, Billingsway, Oregun Ikeja.

Nikki released one album titled Angel For Life.
